Ordino is one of the most beautiful villages in Andorra, located at an altitude of 1298 meters. Its cobblestone streets, traditional stone houses with slate roofs, and a mountainous environment with peaks reaching nearly 3000 meters make strolling through its small historic center a pleasure.

Where is Ordino

Ordino is the capital of the parish of the same name, one of the seven into which the Principality of Andorra is divided. It also gives its name to the famous Ordino Valley, home to some of Andorra’s best hikes, such as the Estanys de Tristaina and the Mirador Solar de Tristaina.

However, it is best known for the Ordino-Arcalís ski slopes, 20 km from the small urban center, which in winter buzz with activity thanks to the quality of its slopes and facilities.

To get to Ordino, simply head to Andorra la Vella. From there, head north on a 9 km road that will lead you to this small village.

If you don’t have a car or prefer to save on driving, tolls, and gas, you can book this excursion to Andorra from Barcelona. You will be able to see the main sights of Andorra la Vella and, of course, go shopping on the famous Av. Meritxell.

Cars cannot circulate on the cobblestone streets of the village, which adds to its charm. You can leave your car in a paid parking lot in the lower part of the village.
